Susanne Piesker will again open for Jonathan Richman and Tommy Larkins when they perform in Germany this tour, coming up in March in Essen and Frankfurt. You may remember the delicate atmospheric beauty of Susanne's starkly wrought, hauntingly noir piano contribution to the song '
Our Party Will Be On the Beach Tonight' from 2008's
Because Her Beauty is Raw and Wild.
The UK/Europe 2012 Spring tour schedule has amassed to a staggering 25 (more or less???) dates in Wales, England, Germany, Italy, Spain and France, kicking off this evening in the gorgeous Wales countryside. Then it seems the wandering duo will spend some time in California (with probably more dates to come). August finds them back across the pond for a couple of great summercamp festivals (Green Man Festival in Wales and Summer Sundae in England).
